Health- Dockers also makes some shoes that are airport-friendly. They are pretty comfy. Good for dancing.

Smile Work Shoe

Try the Bates "Hidden sneakers". I used to have problems with Plantar fasciitis, but never with these shoes. They are very light and have great arch support NO issues at security either! Approved for use by the USPS, TSA and all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.

I have no affliation with this company other than being a satisfied customer...

Bates Footwear, Bates Safety Shoes, Work Boots, Mens Shoes, Womens Uniform Shoes

Funny. I was going to say the same thing about you flying for $40/hour.

I've worn Bates for the last two years plus a year in the AF, love them. Everything above is true, nothing beats a nice shine on a pair of Bates.

Wal-Mart! $25 no metal at all. I just worry about the rain (they don't melt) but they do have a tendency to walk into cheap chinese restaurants.

Just bought my first pair of Bates lites, high gloss. Very light, comfortable, security friendly, and just wipe em down with a hotel towel. I'd buy again.
