Default Business card = "holding out"?

Looking for opinions here - do you think that having a business card and using a business card in a customary manner is "Holding out". For this discussion, the business card simply states one's name, licenses & ratings and contact information.

Senario 1: A client approaches a pilot about a job, at which point the pilot may offer the business card. Clearly legity.

Senario 2: A person approaches a pilot, strikes up a conversation and in order to remain in contact, the pilot offers a business card, which contains the above information.

Any stories of people getting trapped by the "holding out" terminology?
