Default in the minority?

As a px I like the steep banking turns. Had a very memorable quick banking descent into RIC once... fun

So why is it when you bank the airplane turns? Shouldn't it just move sideways? I was asked this question the other day and came up with an answer but I'm not sure it was really correct.

Default You had to ask

Just like the little girl who came home from school and asked her mom for some help with her homework. Mother responds, "Why don't you go ask your father who has a PHD in science"? The little girl responds: "Because I really don't want to know that much about it".

You probably will think twice before asking another question huh?

No big deal... just remember 2 things:
1) If you bank over 30 deg. the FAA says it's aerobatics and you need a parachute; and
2) Honk the horn to go down.

I thought it was 60 degrees of bank and it's aerobatics?

That's what I was thinking because I remember doing steep turns in training at... what... 45 in pvt and 50 or so in commercial?
