Thanks, but I already know lots of nice women, they don't need to be captured and bred in captivity like Pandas though.

I don't know why individuals believe this or that, but as long as governments grant benefits to certain relationships, governments will insist on determining who qualifies and who does not.

Some will always sell out cheaply for a minor token of government largesse.

People sell cheaply that which they don't value highly at the time.

Gordon,

Your problem might arise from being married to TWO women!

Advice given to me from one of those old pilots: "If all else fails, stay married to your first wife."

Sounds similar to the advice I got.

Whatever is your marital status, single, married, divorced, widow, keep it.

Funny, when I wrote that I was married. All else failed and then some, but it was damn good learning experience :D

There's a line in the movie "The Departed" where Nicholson's character likens women to money.

Pretty much sum up A LOT of men's mentality toward the opposite sex.

Like your reply, RJL, but I do still believe in marriage IF you're planning on having kids. If not, or if you're older---I like the idea of just living together. No need for a piece of paper for that.
I remember taking a course in college about marriage and family which advocated marriage being a 10 year contract to either be renewed or just walked away from. It made sense on many levels (unless of course you're a divorce lawyer!).

Why on earth would you want to do that?

You can simply get a sperm donor and a turkey baster. Then you can raise the kids by yourself. As well as open all your own doors and peanut butter jars, replace light bulbs yourself, and pay for your own dinners ;)

Describing yourself as a kitchen appliance or two, door opener, light bulb manipulator and ATM might just be part of the problem.:D
