Default Test Post - New Avatar?

I can't seem to update my avatar. I know there were some issues with duplicate postings and some of the thread shortcuts not working.

Where/whom would I contact about stuff like this?

<edit> - Old avatar.

USER CP/Edit Profile Picture, then uploading an 8kb jpg. The jpg shows correctly in that screen, but when I post, it's the old avatar.

The server runs updates on user titles, sigs, and avatars on a schedule so changes in the posts aren't instant. Once the script rebuilds the avatar thumbnail database, it shows up in the posts.

Also, keep in mind that a profile picture is different from an avatar

Great!

As everyone may have noticed by now, the forum has new software version with some newly added features. I'm still coming up to speed with the new software, but overall I like the improvements.

HSLD,

how do some users have a motion avatar. Is there a way I can get one or show me how to do it.

I think you'll need to use a gif picture as opposed to a jpg. As long as it's small enough size wise per the TOS, it should work.

So you'll need to find the animated gif you want and upload it. Making your own animated gif is a little more tricky.

Are you trying to get the soccer ball to move ?
