There should be warning signs about radiation exposure in front of the machines. Smoking one cigarette won't kill you either but they label those things all over.

Hell of a thing for our boys to come back and see what they've been fighting for. This realization has made this an especially sad veterans day for me.

Every day should be National Opt Out Day! This is going to take all of us opting out, all the time. I can see a significant portion of the traveling public following our lead, and opting out as well. Can you imagine the chaos it would create?

The TSA will then be faced with three options: (1) discontinue use of the scanners, (2) find the funding for CREWPASS, or (3) make the scanner mandatory. If they choose the third option, ALPA had better have a strong response ready, even to the point of an SOS.

I agree. Crew members need to opt out now. The system will crumble early and the TSA will have to react before the holidays. We can get this fixed before a lot of people have their Thanksgiving wrecked.

Default National Opt-Out Day

MODS, you moved a link TO this thread from the CARGO forum to the linked thread. Kind of pointless and circular to do that.
