My lack of college hasnt hurt me yet but it is highly likely it will. My degree will be free when I decide to do it through veteran benefits. Can't gather the momentum to dedicate any time towards school. A degree has nothing to do with flying but often times everything to do with getting hired.

The flight instruction was average at best, since most instructors at the time were brand new CFIs with little experience. I did manage to get hired at a regional airline with reduced mins because of the school. That helped me gain experience faster, allowing me to move on to the next step.

It hasn't hurt but i still can't apply anywhere that has a 4 year degree requirement. I wish (of course I do) that it was like state police requirements, degree OR military service.
I am employed. I'm a Captain at a regional.

My ambitions in the near future are limited to Eagle, because Only Eagle has the minimums close to my TT & I am inching towards the mins...
How important is having a degree even at the regional level with TT near min.

I had a great time, but don't know if I would recommend it to everyone. I'm still paying my student loans off 8yrs after I graduated. It was a super dork atmosphere, we all loved airplanes in one way or another, the professors had great real world experience and I felt like I learned a lot.

Nope, business management. Went generic and non-aviation. Fall back plan. Plus it had lots of credit transfers, online courses, and in-state tuition, so it was the easy and cheap way to jump to a whole new degree.
