Hey SAAB, I'm not offering what you asked for, but can you answer me anyway? I have my eye on XJet and I am going to submit my resume soon but I really don't wanna leave my current job until about Feb07, how long did the entire process take for you from applying to job offer? How much and what kind of time did you and the others in your class have? Any info will be much appreciated.

SAAB, just be patient. You can go through the lengthy process of a base trade, if you can find someone to base trade with. OR you can just wait until the next perm bid comes out (prob 3-6 months...) I think the last one went through January, so I would assume, depending on how things are going in January, that the next perm bid might come out beginning of December or January with effective dates starting in February or March. If you do a base trade, it has to go through a 30 day public approval process where anyone with seniority above you can object. I'd say just be patient, as there will probably have to be a Perm bid to get the charter flying going. At worst case scenario, April at the latest for the next one to come out.

it don't matter when you line fly, as soon as you pass give it a day or two for your name to be in the system and just bid online. it takes two seconds.

you'll be there well before march and hurry up, I need some peeps under me

SAAB, just curious, are you folks the most senior class in the training center and how many are below and/or above you? From what I heard in training was that there was only going to be 1 to be sent to CLE till the end of the year. Don't know if that's true but hopefully you'll get your base trade.

Not to be an ass, but you're taking your Proficiency Check Check on the 17th? Sorry, just a hot button item.

Seriously, there should be a bid out here this month or next month (I keep hearing this month). Bid what you want and you should be able to go there. Don't worry about being stuck. There's so much movement, you should have the base of your choice by spring.
