9/11 special
Natgeotv is doing a week long special on 9/11. Different perspectives. I just watched Giuliani give his take and right now President Bush is on. Very well done. First time I've seen some of the footage or heard of the accounts of what was taking place.

I didn't really get a good feeling watching the promos with their close up sequence of a CG airliner going super slow mo into the wall of the WTC. Seemed a little voyeuristic/graphic/in poor taste.
Maybe I'm just too sensitive about the whole thing.
Shock sells, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that this too has been commodified.

I can't believe it's been ten years already. I remember hearing the news when I was in High School. Now, I'll be flying out of the Boston area on the 11th on my normal run. Talk about a sobering experience. I'll be taking off around 8 AM EST, so I'll be thinking about the events as I fly west.
