Default Lunch Cooler

Probably wrong forum to ask this, but figured it would get the most opinions. Looking to buy a lunch cooler finally to bring along on trips. Sick of buying food in the terminals. Any suggestions of what works that has decent storage space? Looking for something that easily fits on top of my Luggage Works bag as well. Thanks for the help!

Luggage Works makes one that would fit over your Rollerboard. Don't know what size you are looking for but it is on there website

+1... Most every line pilot I've spoken with says it's well worth the $30 and pays itself off within the first few trips of use. Plus it clips right onto the top of the rollerboard bag and sits on your flightkit if you have that hanging by the rollerboard's clip too.

I hear loud and clear bro. I bought a Strong Bag. The thing is AWESOME. I don't eat in restaurants on the road anymore at all. I am saving thousands of dollars a year and there is never any question about being able to eat healthy on the road. I've got my six pack back!

I don't know about the others but my Strong Bag will hold ice for like 48 hours. I put in my food and a 1 gallon Zip Lock full of ice anytime I need more Ice I just get it out of the hotel Ice machines. It works slick as can be.

This is the one I have. It's well worth the money!

Ebags makes a great crew cooler. I have used it for years now, works great. As far as ice, go to Walgreens and buy their blue rubber ice bag, small, around $9, large, around $11, expensive but worth it. The Ebags is well insulated, keeps ice all day and is a nice size and has lots of little extra compartments.

I prefer the aerocoast bag- it has all of the above features, plus a detatchable laptop bag that you can lay flat for TSA in about 5 seconds... eliminates taking my laptop out. Works great.

Anyone aware of a cooler bag with built-in iPad compartment? Something similar to the aerocoast but not detachable or as bulky?

Horses for courses. This is a 6 pack sized unit. It works as a coolie [passive] or a cooler [peltiers@12v]. It will cool hot bear in a Texas summer in half an hour !!!.. and its worth $650!!!!!!

If you are afterJapenese quality under Australian ruggedness these guys don't quit: Engel Australia - Portable Fridge-Freezers

I got one of these for $150 and it is great in the shade. Outdoors in high temp / humidity it becomes a soggy condensate magent. In the shade / cab of a vehicle it is fine. It WILL NOT cool items but will keep refrigerated stuffs cool all day.

From these guys: WAECO mobile solutions

I think these guys handle waeco North America: Dometic.com Dometic

Okay, I'm in the market now for a cooler bag myself, down to 3 options since a few of the eBags reviews by flight crew were 'thumbs down' for various reasons I don't want to deal with.

In order of high-low price, awaiting further review from my peers:

1) StrongBag Canadian Ice Flight Crew Cooler
(StrongBags - Flight Crew Luggage: Canadian Ice Flight Crew Cooler - Coolers & Duffles - Products)

2) Aerocoast PRO Notebook Cooler
(http://www.**************/aerocoast-...ndant-bag.html)

3) LuggageWorks Aurora(LuggageWorks Aurora Cooler Tote - Coolers - Luggage - Products)

A little time has gone by since this thread was last active, I just wanted to see where everyone stood on their cooler bag choices... I'm at am impasse on deciding which one I want to get.
