As a son of a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge, I thank you for this link.
I often heard of the massacre at Malmedy. The section about the trial has a lot of information about the Bulge, and what my Dad endured.

Sometimes I wonder what Gen.Patton would have done differently in Iraq and or Afghanistan.

Your right on about that and he,d probably be frustrated at the amount of micromanaging.

In today's society, they are very few people around who are as hard, direct, and as demanding as Patton. Icons like him are long gone in today's politically correct environment.
