I remember seeing an interview with him on the news maybe a month ago about it. His drive to get back into doing it was amazing.
I never really got an idea of the speeds these guys get going until watching his videos.
Got me back into skydiving and hopefully eventually into trying that.

Yeah, easily 120+ mph. He's lucky to have escaped with so little harm done (two broken ankles, a broken fibula, a torn ACL, a massive gash in his shin which they had to use skin grafts to close).
Man, I'm chomping at the bit to get my USPA license. Never been skydiving but I've sworn to before I hit 2,000 posts here on APC.

A quick question bout wingsuits.. If the aspect ratio of the wing was increased it would result in a lower stall speed and a shallower glide slope.. So why isn't this done.
My theory is the strength of the wing root [your shoulder] would not carry the increased weight.
not a deep question, i realise... I've just always wondered..
