He meant “corkscrewed like a porpoise”. That’s quite a trick. :D

I'll bet the TSA gave him the "Fisheye."

Probably made him feel even more "crabby."

Nah. I just gave him a nice “well you’re a real *******, have a nice day look” and didn’t give it a second thought. I’m simply so far beyond giving a flying **** about most of life’s trivial bull****. I was happy my FO wasn’t out side yet to witness the douchebaggery though. He was a younger fella that was wound up a little tight and would get riled up over minor stuff. I guess watching a throw down between a crusty old man and a twenty something could’ve been entertaining.

Prison rules.

BS is BS. Don't care if that's the way it is/was done at the regionals.

Funny, but no.

I don't know, but it's never happened on any crew I was with. But I guess you have.

How about we wait 10 minutes for another crew (same airline), then they dash off as soon as the van parks at the hotel....... just so they can get to the sign-in sheet before us. I’ve seen this many times.

So? douchery is douchery.

I guess I'm not smart enough to know what this means.

Sign up for 5 and you're stuck for 15 (and then after 15 you end up leaving without the other crew anyway). Don't blame the other crew, it's the transportation providers who don't provide adequate vehicles and then are unable to give a proper estimate that are the problem.

I get your point, but I do blame the other crew. We landed within minutes of each other, on the gates right next to each other nearly simultaneously. But it was a regional jet so they got done sooner. The driver told them he was there for us too and they convinced him to leave anyway.
