It's not a silly statement. I know the rent is the same, but they dont fill the need of a 7 day operation. I realize its probably has nothing to do with that and it's a political decision.

It is political and it sucks for the employees/passengers because they offer a great product with reasonable prices. Lots of airports have chick fil a, and on sundays there are plenty of alternates.

At least two Chik-Fil-A's in Tampa. Always a long line.

Yea. Chick-fil-a is a freaking cash machine. Build it and they will come. On Sundays, there is a steady stream of people walking past the darkened storefront who look at their watch or phone, sigh, and continue on. They'll be back, they always return.

SAT's loss. They're mostly embarrassed that a mere company has gotten away with sticking by a set of founder's principles while the politicians regularly sell their souls just to get re-elected. They're bravely poking a bear that barely recognizes their existence.
