An old bull and a young bull were standing on a hilltop overlooking their herd. The youngster, pawing and snorting, said "Whoa, lookit all them cows! Let's run down there real fast and get us one of them!" The old bull looked over at him and said "Go ahead, run down there real fast and get you one. I'll walk down there nice and slow and get the rest of them." It's funny how young people mistake their ignorance for wisdom. Youth is wasted on the young. |

Oh LNL76, they just could not help themselves.
They were all caught up in debating hand flying by millennial pilots using the AoA indicator in marginal weather caused by climate change that was reported by Brian Williams and Matt Lauer from their special report; “How we trained military female flight crews during the Vietnam war.” Millennials are bad and science is fake I guess if you can't argue with them, attack them for when they were born |

Millenials. . . I was just at a coffee shop doing some AQP homework when a millenial loudly blurted out, "All right, who's the toe tapper?" Evidently his ocd and latch key upbringing and subsequent lack of manners prevents him from silencing his pie hole and understanding and accepting that in public places people can tap their toes. While not aviation related he merits tool of the day consideration.

And you couldn't stop tapping even though it annoyed people around you?? Sounds a tad OCD to have to continually repeat the same action, no?? Sounds like you just annoy people around you and are too thick to pick up on societal norms and cues. Blaming your flaws on a whole generation is much easier to face, though. If you'd look in the mirror, you'd see you posses all the traits you claim all millennials have. |

(No one clue him in, please) Ranting about generational differences is utterly pointless. And the generalizations are just silly and largely irrelevant. For every spiky-haired, backpack-wearing, headphone-rocking Millennial regional FO complaining about having to wait a year to upgrade, I'll give you one grotesquely overweight 64 y/o mainline CA complaining about his lack of choice in crew meals and his poverty level wage...to a van driver. Whom he then refuses to tip. Who's the entitled one? |

He's got a point. Sure, there are irritating, entitled Millennials. There are also irritating, entitled Boomers, Gen Xers, and so forth.

Every generation has its group of individuals who complain about the entitlement/lack of responsibility of the next up and coming generation. |

Every generation has its group of individuals who complain about the entitlement/lack of responsibility of the next up and coming generation. Next generation upset with said choices of older crowd. Moral of the story is: nobody will ever be happy with the actions of anyone else. So take responsibility for yourself and your own actions and do the best you can |

Ahh, angry that you can't tap your toe wherever you want even if it inconveniences people who prefer studying without annoying repetitive noises. Sounds like you think you're entitled to make whatever noises you wish, regardless of others preferences.

I forgot to mention that if noise, rythmic or otherwise, bothers you then a coffee shop is a bad place to study. Thus endeth the lesson.

Also I don’t think LNL could ever be dad of the year. No fence LNL. 😄 |

I’m thinking “dad” probably isn’t the correct way to address “her”, but I can’t say with certainty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This generation has tons of problems, just like every other one. Watching hours of news coverage about how all these "liberal colleges" are an epidemic on our society is pointless. |

Now I better understand the over the top responses by some folks here regarding toe tapping. Must have struck an involuntary nerve. :D |

I just miss the good ol days when the internet was a fad for nerds and youngins and the old farts complaining about the young bucks was confined to the front porch. |
The dude who wears the goggles, leather hat, scarf, and gloves while pax are boarding. Here's the attention you so desperately desire.
