My guess is there are probably a lot. But the difference is, the pilot wouldn't pretend at all. He would just get on there and state- "Ok Boys- listen up. I'm an airline captain and here's what the truth is about that vascular disorder you're discussing. Oh- and I was a navy pilot too."

And my wife's a nurse, and I laid over in a Holiday Inn Express last night...:D

No more from me buddy, but then more from me... Gotta get that last word in. Nice.

I thought this was Airline Pilot Central.

Feels more like like I fly a piston single when the weather is nice.

Sorry to come off as rude but I drive a car and don't tell 18 wheel truckers I know all about what they do. Flying on nice days where and how you feel like it from small airports is something most of us have done. It has little relevance to flying an airliner and all that entails.

True.

But let's give the "benefit of the doubt", shall we?

Let pilots that have an EMS/EMT/paramedic, or other medical background that ISNT at the M.D. level try to lecture the M.D.s on all things.

Holy cow that would be epic to watch.

I have a Red Cross First Aid certificate with CPR and AED ratings. Anyone know of a doctors' forum where I can go and tell the quacks what they're doing wrong?
