Well the F-35 is only being put on hold for 24 months. The order for 10 C-27Js still stands although the powers that be did seriously considered adopting the US approach... more CH-47s but, alas, it was not to be. Sadly no talk of the Osprey. Our order for A330 MRTTs still stands. as does our order for more Hercules. <can you have too many?!>
Ground forces. FYI, some industrial coatings used on tanks don't fully cure for 12 months..... So before their new paint jobs are dried some of our shiny new M1s are being mothballed, along with some M113s. Sadly we are not to get self propelled artillery. Happily our Mercedes 'G' class procurement program still stands.
Navy. Is Australia going to operate a fleet of submarines? Who knows, it changes on a daily basis.
