Hopefully not discovery or history, I hate their editing(repeating footage, improper sound for planes, etccc).
This could be interesting if done right, but most likely glamorized with false info and Hollywood flash

but you can tell they're building in the hype in the video
- shortest runway in the world? Ummm, not for a 172
- we're the best pilot school anywere
- If the 757 did flip them on approach, I'd look elesewhere
- the young blond with the big b**bs will be first to go.
Nice mix of personalities, skill levels, and interests.

Looks awful. The owner/old guy needs to shut up. Honestly... Top Gun?
Shortest runway where? What? That makes no sense on any level.
Lastly, as a CFI, there's absolutely no way I'd ever sign off on letting someone make a TV show out of my instructing. Ever.
No way man, those things are the only reason anyone will watch this. They'll keep her around for the ratings.

The owner just shot himself in the foot by looking like a complete ass.
"our students that train here are going to be prepared better than any other students anywhere else in the world"
"Having been in the business for 40 years involved with flight training general aviation at every level there's no question that if you learn to fly at the OCFC you will have the skills available to you to operate an aircraft in and out of any airport in the world."
"....compete at the top gun level..."
No way I'd set foot on that property to train (or recommend it) based on that clip alone. For the students it looks like ignorance is bliss.

I just watched the video, wow......... There's always "that guy" out there.
I couldn't get a judgement on the CFI's, they appear to be doing a good job though. Hopefully they see some money their way for their efforts(ok, so we know that won't happen)

I might watch it to see where it goes. I agree with the above post on Discovery's way of editing, same clips over and over, can't stand it.
The insurance costs must be atronomical. One little mishap and the Feds will 709 the #ell out of the CFI. Too much publicity.

This kind of reality show is for losers.
My friend has a better idea: a reality show made up of ex-fighter pilots, each competing in flying, eating, drinking, passing gas, depth of profanity vocabulary, etc etc.
He volunteers to represent the Hornet. [And he is already laughing at the old F-14 guys]
