Default Flight Simulator

Ok guys and gals, pilots and pals,

I have a lot of miles on United and periodically they send me these auction things that I can bid on with my miles. I've been thinking about bidding on the flight simulator experience in Denver. Is it really cool? Do you think I should bid on it, or take another first class trip to another exotic locale?

It's certainly the closest I'll ever get to flying a jet, unless one of ya'all will let me in the cockpit. What do you think? I hear the Denver simulator is the best.

Hopefull this link will work:

I would take the 1st class trip... It is just a simulator and you dont get special treatment by anyone.

It's all up to you dear. If you've never been in one and really really want it then have at it! If you'd rather have the first class trip then take that. I'm however an easy traveler and don't really care if i'm in first class or not. However I'm only 24 and could sleep with the baggage and not mind. I would have done the sim. I do not currently fly anything like it. It would be a trip in itself.

For $450.00 you can try this http://www.b737.com/. I haven't tried it but I would like to. Hope that help's, I think a first class ticket is worth more than $450.00. Like some have said, its up to you SkyGirl.

I'd take the trip or the air combat. Flight simulators are boring.

Funny how most pilots never think of it that way.

Hmmm Favila, that Continental thing doesn't look like a bad deal, maybe I should just use the miles to fly first class internationally instead. That's how I usually use them, although I have enough miles for several first class international trips.

The fighter pilot thing looked pretty cool though. Anyone know anything about that? Should I become a fighter pilot for a day or should I use my miles, as well as my travel agent freebies, and spend a week in Bora Bora in an over-the-water bungalow with the see-thru floor?...LOL

HSLD, I know spending a day in DEN isn't exactly how you'd want to spend your day off, but it might be fun for me to pretend to be a pilot for a day! Besides, you know I'm on United a lot and will be racking up many more miles. Just what all of you pilots want, some chick who was in the sim, backseat driving the plane!..LOL
