Medically retired B737 FO. 10,000+ hours. Would like to still keep up on industry. Previously flew at Mesa in B1900D, prior to that as an Instructor Pilot for the Lufthansa school here in PHX.

I'm an American living in Europe with Uk Citizenship. I'm interested in obtaining the requisite ratings and certificate to be hired for piloting in the most efficient manner possible as this will be a second career for me. I'm open to doing this in Europe or USA but would like to know the pros and cons of doing it in either location. Any guidance is most appreciated.
