It is. Which is why the FAA only attempts to enforce that standard in cases where the proof is overwhelming... conviction for serious crimes, often involving aircraft.

He doesn't. Airline pilots don't need SIDA passes.

Yes you do, you got a SIDA clearance when you got hired.

Whether your company pays for a SIDA badge at your domicile airport is up to them, based on local rules.

Not all felonies are disqualifying.
This guy can work at an airline, but can't get a SIDA badge.
