I do like Sam Adams Latitude 48, Red Hook's IPA and most others.

I don't think I've had a regular Bud in...10 years?

Oh wait, that's usually what they give out free at sailing regattas, so I might have had one by mistake, but I always bring my own cooler full of good stuff, and a bottle of rum for later.

My mistake. The Double IPA was invented in America. Even more flavorful. So flavorful Germans would spit it out.

Someone who tells me American beer tastes watered down doesn't know what they are talking about and has not tried that many different styles from that many different breweries. Go get yourself an IPA, which was invented in America. See if that tastes watered down.
Pull the throttles back a bit.. I was refering to the most "popular" brands i.e. Bud, Pabst (yes they still sell it), Michelob, and the good ole' college standby Natty Light, etc... I happen to enjoy some American microbrews, if you are in Albuquerque get an Isotopes Slammin' Amber. It's probably one of the best beers outside of Germany I have ever had. Additionally, you really can't go wrong with a nice Session Lager. Then again a Fat Tire after mowing the grass is welcome treat as well. However, I still prefer mostly German beers thanks to the influence of my friends...

I always have trouble deciding between

and the beer created by the Captain himself

I believe in Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer,
an ambrosia of mankind,
whose unique and wonderful character comes from nature's goodness,
pure sparkling water,
rich grains of the field
gently flavored with the buds of hops.
I therefore, believe it is my duty to myself to love it,
to respect it and enjoy it against all other beers.
