The old NOS books had OH and IN in one book, KY and TN were in another. So everyone headed to Cincinnati would pull their hair out unless they knew local geography.

Just wait until it will be "Minute Maid Airport" or "McDonald's Aerodrome" or "Coca-Cola Field" or some other corporate sponsored airport name.

I flew in there shortly after the name change and the F/O jokingly mentioned on the radio that the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport was a lot to say....without missing a beat, the Tower controller said that they have taken to just calling it the Hill-Billy Airport

Actually "Little Rock Tower still works just fine.

There are other Little Rock area airports, but none using the same frequency for tower, or the same runways. It's not that complicated.
