I know United flew the Broncos from DEN To NJ. What about the Seahawks? Anyone know who piloted the two flights?

Delta flew the Seahawks and flew the 12th man flag out the cockpit window when they taxied in. Don't know the crew.

If the Super-Bowl is decided by the airlines that flew the teams to NYC, then Seahawks are going to win! Delta brought 2 new Asia departures to Seattle last year and United ceased operation on their only departure (SEA-NRT) *and* closed the pilot base. United is full of quit, Go Hawks!

That's certainly the Fox News version of events. UA pulled SEA NRT they opened DEN NRT (see UA flies to Asia from other Super Bowl team city).

If Sherman doesn't tip the ball and Crabtree catches the TD the. UA would be flying Asia and the teams from both Super Bowl cities. In addition DL just pulled out of SFO NRT. Would that make them full of quit?

Finally the sea crew base is still open, for now. The only thing that happened up there was the 777 pilots were displaced out. They had one trip. It's pretty inefficient to have a base staffing for just flight a day.

There are a lot of things wrong with UA, however I would rather see the planes put in money making markets. In sea there are two other carriers in the nrt market. In DEN we are the sole operator and we have a hub to support the flight.

Few years back when the SB was in Tampa , they brought a A330 for the players and coaches , and a 747 for friends and family..... Met the captain who was flying the 330
Nice old guy , brought me up to the plane as I had never seen the inside of a 330, he mentioned he had flown 10 Super Bowl charters in his career , (impressive) he also mentioned he had never once brought home a winning team !!! Sure enough the cardinals lost that game too ! Of course he said he never mentions that to the players ....
