And you know what the copilot said to the engineer when the Captain had a heart attack?

"Help me get this Azzhole out of MY seat, and you can have the landing!"

I try to enjoy every day, when going to work or staying home.

You never know when it will be your last.

Remember that book, "Don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff."

I never read it but I do try to live by the title.

My work routine is fairly simple. I'm senior enough to bid trips with long overnights that allow for fun. I usually fly all day, get to the hotel, nap for an hour (if it was a 5am start haha), then use my awesome smartphone to find a good local restaurant for dinner, a great local bar, then bed, rinse repeat. Its not so bad. I've been able to meet cool people, try new foods and beers, and see beautiful cities.

Default Daily life of a pilot

12 days off a month, line holder, but because of the commute, I get maybe 7 days at home . Flying 3-4 legs a day on average

Does the routine of an airline pilot allow for much socializing between flights? I imagine it's a little difficult to make connections with people in different cities, but it can happen, right?
