In the coming months we will see the spin machine go full tilt.

You should definitely reply. Give them your salary and QOL requirements. They need to know and there's nothing wrong with negotiating for a job.

When regionals start paying $50/hr or better, it may become a realistic option for me. Until then, no.

I'll keep on flying contract King Airs until a major calls or something better comes around.

How did they find you if you're 17 years with UAL?

Hopefully this trend continues, and picks up pace. Sadly, I remember reading not to long ago about one of the regionals (forget which one) cancelling flights due to lack of crew. To me, that speaks volumes that they'd rather screw paying customers than up their wages for the young guys and gals. Not alot, if any, faith in those regional mngmt yahoo's.

I have no idea. But I'm guessing they got FAA records and shotgunned anybody with an ATP? I was with America West before UAL and ATI prior to that so I can guarantee you I've never applied at GLA. Heck they didn't even exist back when I was needing to build turbine time.

Thats either serious desperation or complete stupidity on their part. This sounds like they have a way of getting peoples emails and shotgunning everybody. They emailed me and told me the number they had for me didn't work. Take a guess as to why...
