Default Hotel pet peeves

A new one that's been bugging me. Some hotels are installing occupancy sensors in the bathrooms. The 2 am voyage to the bathroom turns into a blinding experience. I think they mean to put in vacancy sensors so I help them out by reprogramming the switches. 😃

No outlets near the bed or on the lamp, nothing like having to get up or stretch over to get to my phone.

Turndown service is sometimes late, chocolates on the pillows have nuts and the 18 y/o scotch in the mini-bar is far too peaty.

Beds without duvet covers; they just wrap the deuvet in plain sheets and it all falls apart after sleeping in it. I'm pretty sure they don't change the duvets between guests.

The Stooopid "rain forest" shower heads at some Westins (ORD). I'd like some PRESSURE. On the other hand, Residence Inn by Marriott in Vegas, best shower pressure I can remember. Who said there is a water shortage in Vegas?

As well as when they stir my martini, when I SPECIFICALLY told the concierge I wanted it shaken.
