Default 600tt, 250multi

so i have a friend that i go to school with asking where he could go to get a flying Job besides instructing. he has 600tt, 250 multi and hes 20 years old. any suggestions?

With 250 ME (assuming that it's actual legit ME... that number with 600TT raises a flag right off), he should be marketable to most of the regionals out there (regardless of their published minimums).

I'd suggest that he send a resume out to any regional airline that he's interested in, and see who nibbles. Remember that posted minimums are there as guidelines and also to weed out a lot of the chaff. Just because you don't make all the minimums doesn't mean you won't be offered an interview (IE if you have either a lot of TT or ME, but are short in other categories).

Agreed. AWAC, CoEx, heck, even take a shot at SkyWest, even though they tend to be pretty firm on minimums. After all, they're going to be hiring a ton of pilots and in one case that I know of, have waived the minimum age requirement. Of course, Great Lakes, Colgan, and other turboprop operators are nearly a shoe-in as well...all depends on what he's looking for.
