Wake up call for the rest of Europe

Spring loaded to be a jerk much? I'm saying that if you want to change the way immigrants are accepted, like anchor babies for example, you need to change the Constitution. European countries also have constitutional problem with immigration. Maybe it's time to revisit these documents.

Anchor babies is a bad example and fixing it would not require changing the Constitution. It could just take another challenge to SCOTUS to have it reversed as it was not interpreted the current way for around 100 yrs. and was changed by SCOTUS.

All Congress has to do is pass or create a new amendment to the current U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act which would concurrently require the passage the corresponding Constitutional amendment. I believe that the majority of the residents in the U.S. would support such a change. The times and immigrant attitudes of Ellis Island are long gone.
Example/Solution;
The "Protection of the Homeland Immigration Act of 2015" that would requires that; 1) in order to confer U.S, Citizenship, via the parents to a newborn on U.S. Soil, (and in some cases a U.S. Registered Aircraft or U.S. Flagged Vessel), shall mandate that one or both parents of the newborn be U.S. born citizens at the time of the birth, (and the parents have never renounced their citizenship). This is commonly refereed to "Derived Citizenship."
Problem solved
PS. I researched these laws, (while in College) as most of my relatives are 1st generation immigrants and many have derived U.S. Citizenship from their Foreign Born U.S. Citizen Parents, and most served both in the Military and Government Service. I now try teach our newer generations of our history. To be proud of their U.S. Citizenship as most of the family has also "Written a Blank Check Payable to the U.S," (if you don't understand that phrase, you probably never raised your right hand and took the Oath of Office, which never expires).

People there feel the need for a weapon, and by their rules that is the most effective and available weapon.
They are voting with their wallet because they feel their leaders have failed to protect them. Their vote is proof of ther lack of confidence in their leaders.
