Default nice car

I bought a Chevy Celebrity with the same exact paint scheme from a DC-10 captain once. I got pulled over a few times, too. go figure.

I think it was about the 4th time it got towed by the city that I decided to let them keep it.

My worst car ever...

I once had a 1981 Diesel Chevy Suburban with the same paint job as your taurus, the ceiling liner drooping down, and a stock tape deck. I was bringing it home from the shop and when turning a corner about 1 1/2 mi away from home I hear a loud clink and the engine dies. It started leaking oil and eventually the entire thing went up in flames.

Default Pinto

Had an early 1970's Pinto that I used when I commuted from LGA-IAD in the late 80's.

It was one of those "check the gas and fill up the oil" cars when you pulled into a gas station.

The radio antenna was a metal coat hanger. Rust spots that you couldn't believe, but it did get me around the area. I think it was yellow, but the rust covered as much of an area as the paint did.

Never had to worry about it getting stolen as no one, and I mean no one, would ever want it - even a car thief.

When I got a bid back to New York, I couldn't even give it away to a needy new-hire pilot! Had the airport authority tow it away for me and gave it to the parking lot attendant for nothing.

It never failed to start, always in a big cloud of smoke, but it did the trick for 11 months!

Plymouths and RX-7's....sh@t sh@t [email protected] least after about a year or so...

I had a Saturn SL2 and the sunroof always busted within 10 uses...but cost 400 bucks to fix...with a used one.

The driver's door wouldn't open...

windows wouldn't close...

messed up bumper...

busted interior light...

need I say more? I had to give it to Goodwill. Wasn't worth towing it for parts when it broke down on the side of the road.

btw my sister got her plates stolen by someone w/a chevy celebrity...eh hem...wasn't you, was it?...newho, they got two tickets and the police were trying to get her to pay them for months...if you ever lose your plates, don't report them as lost, report them as stolen, or you could have to go through a huge mess like she did...just letting y'all know so you can avoid that.
