Default Need Beta Testers for a new Hotel Fitness App

KINETICOACH - The Travel Trainer.

There's a TV in the hotel gym. Time to get in shape on the road.

As a pilot, I've been watching for years as people come into the hotel gym to find a broken treadmill, awkwardly lift a dumbbell for 30 seconds then call it good. We are aiming to change that by telling you exactly how to use a hotel gym to stay in shape.

We are a week or two out for beta testing our APP and I'm looking for some volunteers. It has turned out to be an awesome product with about 600 workouts (and counting) you can do in hotel gyms or at home with no weight up to a full barbell gym set. In short, you enter the equipment you have, the time available, and how you are feeling and the app will build 10 custom workouts for you to choose from. It has integral timer functions, video instruction and a tracker to track your workouts and progress. We also included the ability to create a team so you can share workouts with your peers and challenge each other.

We have workouts for all skill levels, from people who have never touched a weight in their life to full competition style training and will make it a challenge for everyone. My co-founders have both owned gyms and have over 30 years experience coaching athletes. Our goal is to get you in shape and have fun while doing it. We focus on total body, functional movements that will keep you healthy for years. Think of lifting your 40lb suitcase into an overhead or your 60lb sleeping child off the couch and up a flight of stairs to bed. We have more than 150 videos to show the proper way to lift weights and exercise.

Here are links to a few of them.

Dumbbell High Pull

At this stage, we want to put the app to use to see how it works and find any bugs we may have missed. We are looking for honest feedback on the app, likes and dislikes, functionality, and most importantly how you like the workouts.

If you are interested (Only IOS at this stage) in being a BETA tester, please send the following and we will be in touch in a few weeks when the beta is ready. This process will be interactive and we would like feedback along the way to pass to our developers to tweak the app real time.

If I hear someone jumping or exercising in a hotel room, I call the front desk. Sadly I've had to do this more than once.

Have respect for people trying to get rest.

Exercising in the hotel room is not the answer.

That's the idea. We want to get people out of their rooms and down to the hotel gym. If you are intimidated by weights, we have 150 videos to show you the safe way of lifting and workouts to accompany them.

This job leads to a sedentary lifestyle. 8 hours in the cockpit, terrible food, the hotel lounge, repeat. We want 15 minutes of your time to hit the gym before you hit the bar and bed. A little motivation to keep your body, mind and heart in shape and over 600 workouts and counting to keep the hotel gym interesting.

We still have plenty of Beta test spots available. Email me at [email protected]

Let us know if you develop a droid version.

Droid is next. Once we get this one working we are going to roll all our efforts there. We already have a bunch of additions for V2 that we will incorporate as well that just didn't make the cut for this one.

Does the app work with HRM or other bluetooth input devices?

Will it export workout data to Strava or other community/logbook platforms?

Is workout data locked down in the app or can you export .fit files?

Sounds good, but like the other poster above...let us know when a droid option is available. I'd give it a try.

KINETICOACH will work on an iPad as well if you have a company EFB or personal one for another option.
