It could just as easily be built as HNL-SEA-NRT-HNL and HNL-NRT-SEA-HNL opposite direction triangle pairings to make the trips shorter.

They're cancelling HNL-NRT to do SEA-NRT, so it won't be built as a triangle as there will be no HNL-NRT flight.

I think things will move in a positive direction!
Flying on the line and hanging out in the crew lounge talking with ppl- most of us are excited about the future instead of worrying about losing our jobs.
Overall, we have positive opinions about Alaska management and their ambitious plans to grow. We hope it manifests.
It would be amazing if we can be part of the amazing growth that Alaska has planned!
JCBA and SLI will come and go and will no dobut be contentious at times. But in the grand scheme of things I feel very optimistic about being part of Alaska/Hawaiian airlines.
As a relatively new hire with 30+ years left to work in the industry, I am glad that I am here in this moment.
Aloha!
