Another 2 confirmed standby links. I'm assuming we'll all (mostly) get rejection letters on the 24th if the first round of interviews accept. It is what it is. Keep working for the next round and/or next major airline. It's coming...

Can't see how many spots, and I didn't count the days, but I would guess 40-ish between March 30th and August.

So predicting rejection, and I'm honestly at the bottom of the competitive pool so it is ok and expected, I'm trying to plan how to be more competitive next round. I have a Street Captain slot at Island Air if I want it, April start. I have mainland 121 time, and part 91/135 time with some PIC turbine. My 135 job just fell apart (the joy of working for a single owner / single ship op). The management company has offered me a new gig, but SIC for 3-4 years and flying 200-300 total per year. Much better money, though.

My resume weaknesses are total time and turbine PIC. What would you do?

standby letter for me also... current 121 RJ CA 7700TT 2,000 121 jet PIC, Volunteer work

I know a current Hawaiian pilot who got this same email when he applied, now he is a A330 FO.... so I won't sweat it for now

Go to any regional hiring with a flow through.
