Weird that Atlas is one of APC’s sponsors (I see their banners almost every time I’m on here) and yet the site chooses to keep displaying outdated information that they know is wrong. Wouldn’t it be easier to have someone validate changes sent in by users rather than require that it comes from official company email? I bet there are some companies out there that couldn’t care less what’s in their APC page. Will they be forever outdated then?

Worth noting that an email from your company account will in no way violate your anonymity on the forums, there's no connection there (maybe use a VPN).
