I was not able to replicate it on the PC, but using my tablet, I would go to the full PC view, click on Major, find the NKS thread and click on "last page." It would think about it for a long while then say something like "too many redirects."

It does work properly if I click on the first page then go to the last post.

This happens only on the NKS thread. I haven't tried any of the others.

I'm using Macbook Pro and Safari. Has always worked, highly doubt that's the problem.

Ads change regularly, so when issues like this suddenly happen it is likely related to a new ad being presented on a page.

If it is only the NKS thread, and no other thread, the issue might be related to something in the thread itself.

I would need to know if other threads are also affected.

Best I can tell it is only the Spirit of NKS thread. Happens to me on iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Air. Haven't tried PC.

Problem going to last post

There is an issue going to the last post of the Trans States thread in the regional pilot forum. Looks like a database sync issue. Currently the last post is http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/re...ates-1092.html but the "last post" link sends you to post 1101 (which doesn't exist) and then tries to redirect to 1092. Some browsers hang up due to the excessive redirects....

I have the same problem on the delta latest and greatest thread. My theory is that it's related to deleted posts, which are still counted somehow.

You are correct.

The big TSA thread has a lot of redirects and on my tablet, I cannot go straight to the last post. I have to go to the first then go to the last. I wonder if it's time to have a Son Of TSA thread.

Anyone having trouble with the TSA thread?

To who it may pertain to, the Trans State thread is not working properly. Anyone else having this problem, or is it just me? Can we fix this, thanks!

BobJenkins 01-02-2016 08:49 PM

Yes. Too many redirects for Chrome. I can open it with Safari though.

Not sure if the site owner can fix this or not. Also notice on many threads, it will show more pages than actually exist. For example, though the TSA thread may be on page 1071 or 1072, it shows something like 1075 pages. Many threads here do that.

I have similar issues on most threads.
