Interested in Alpine. What do they have for equipment in the 99s? Autopilots/GPS? Also could a new hire get a Billings base?

From what I remember, I think only some planes have autopilot. I believe they all had Garmin 530 with Wass and an 6 pack with an HSI. My guess is, with Christmas coming up, you could get any base they have. But just a guess. I’ve seen posting for hiring in SLC, DEN and BIL at 1,200hrs

I'm resurrecting the thread (somewhat, it's not terribly old, right?) to see if anyone can give a good answer to this question. I'd be interested in doing this out of SLC.

SLC is pretty well staffed these days. You’re paid a full time salary for being available, right now guys are alternating between 3-4 days of work per week. Also a chance some of those could be reserve, which more often than not doesn’t fly, so you’re walking away for the day at 8am. Alpine is a good company with some growth to come. They are converting D model 1900s to cargo config, UPS loves them and seems happy to let alpine take over (amf has lost a few runs to alpine in SLC within the last year).
