Looking for a job...period

Its like picking up women, sometimes its a numbers game..send out those resumes, network, show them you're interested, committed and withing reason aren't looking to take no as an answer.
Fill out those apps, sell yourself, keep alot of lines in the water and something will bite. Its admirable to be able to admit you might not be that enthusiastic about instructing but at the same time you really can't say if you haven't tried. I felt the same way until I realized I learned as much as I taught.
Accept that your first job might not be the one you dreamed it would be but its a start.
Check ^to350.com, increase those hours while searching and keep plugging away. Thats my "program" as I'm in the same boat.

USA Jet Airlines. They interviewed me at 275TT. DO-20's and DC-9's. $56.00 an hour. Yes there are some hangups but probably the best opportunity for a low time pilot. PM me by tomorrow (packing up and moving from PHX to PDX) and I'll give you an E-mail address.

OnMyWay, any chance I could get that email also? I can't PM, but my email addy is [email protected]
I looked at them a few weeks ago, but the website said that there weren't any open positions, so I just moved along.
I'm in the same boat he is... 400TT, 45 multi. I've been sending resumes out to a bunch of places (including Grand Canyon Airlines and Scenic) but the only place I've heard back from is Southern Seaplanes in New Orleans. I'd rather be logging that turbine time, though.

IFL Group in Waterford, MI...fly Convairs, Falcon 20's and 727's. Only hire low timers in the Convairs/FA20's. Climbto350.com has a posting. Mins are 500tt 100multi but take guys with a lot lower. Pay is better then first year at a regional.

Alright ladies and gents, here's the skinny....
I'm a university flight program graduate with my commercial multi, instrument. Sitting on 325 total and about 45 multi. I have my master's degree in aviation and some military maintenance experience. I'm looking to get a job with a regional, but am having hard luck as of right now. Anybody have any insight into regionals and how to get an interview or where I can get a job doing some flying to build more time. I really do not want to flight instruct and feel that if I were to even try that route my heart would not be in it. That being said, it wouldn't be fair to myself or the student shelling out thousands of dollars. Either post on here or PM me if you have any info. Many thanks.

You get a base salary of (don't hold me to this) $27k.
You get paid if you help load the planes.
You get $125 evertime you cross the boarder.
You get .12 cents per mile.
Couple the mileage with the border crossing pay and that's why the guys in Texas pull so much ahead. They also have a 727 but don't need anyone to fly it just yet.
You will have to live in your base and have a 30 minute callout to be at the airport when in the south. They are not CASS.
They have a few Convairs they fly up north but I don't know their pay. I think 13 or 14 cents per mile but they are much slower.
Currently they aren't really hiring. That changes often though. Captains make in the 6 figures down south. Much less up north.
