No cash just sitting around... was furloughed by my previous employer, a 135 outfit.... pretty dang sure I got hired at the regional of my choice but have to wait until june or july for ground school.... just looking to continue flying until then otherwise I will be working some lame non-aviation related job...."would you like fries with that?" is not the way I want to prepare for ground school.... but any type of flying is better than none.... there I said it and I need a beer.

You have now entered the realm of aviation prostitute - I think thats where most of us start out - any type of flying for any money - Good luck with getting some flying time, I truly hope it works out and you can get some stick time...

Thanks... found out today when ground school is... May 12.... doesn't leave much time to find a temp job and fly a little but I am still hopeful and willing to go wherever I can log a few more hours before sitting in training.

Happy to hear school is right around the corner, but...
I have never heard someone who is looking for a job be so incredibly vague!

Well, take this time to study whatever materials they gave you. Brush up on your IAP's. Study the 121/135 (whatever you are doing) regs so it makes the regs you learn in indoc easier to undertand. Most importantly...take this next month to RELAX and catch up on your rest! You will be in lock-down for the next month and a half, to two months! You need to be as healthy as possible!
Good luck sir,

Lax...
Much appreciated and I suppose this would be a good time to start studying regs and whatnot.... they only sent 15 pages worth of memory items and limitations so I would assume that it will be pretty easy to memorize those items with the next month off... thanks again!
