Default Filling a gap....

Lets say I was to be offered a job at a regional that had its ground school start in June.... to keep current I want to keep flying but what type of work would allow flexibility to leave when the time comes without burning any bridges? I am not a CFI.... so teaching is not an option.

Thanks for any advice you can offer....

Save your money. Being current is overated. You will do fine as long as you study alot. Play fly sim if you want to fly.

The lack of answers speaks a lot to your question. Most places, even if you were qualified, aren't interested in hiring a guy for a few months. With the demand for CFI's, that could have been a possibility, but it's a moot point in your case.

It might help if you say where you're from and maybe someone from around there would have an idea.

Just come out with your situation point blank. Don't include company names, or your name. It will be easier for us to shed some light on the subject, and you will get info/idvice you are looking for.

Thank you.

why don't you try to attain your CFI even if you don't use it - then you'll have a backup in the airline falls through - you'll gain proficiency and time - its a no brainer
