I was looking at Dyncorp's website and the link for pilots to send in their resume'. They also want you to submit your salary expectations. Does anyone have any clue as to a reasonable amount to request!

Are you affiliated with this organization? The work looks very interesting. They say the pay is commensurate with other similar organizations. Kind of vague though. Do you have any further information? Do they work on a 30 on/30 off schedule or more? Aircraft fleet? Etc....

I haven't ever worked for Air Serv, but was turned off to them after the scary stuff I read about them on pprune.org. I think currently they're operating in Iraq, Afghanistan, and some places in Africa. Here is a blog of a guy that spent a year working for them in Chad. It's pretty entertaining.

Avenge Air(sp?) out of Hagerstown, MD has some Dash 8 and KA 200 contracts over there! That's all I know of the operation.

500-1000 per day (travel days to and from included) depending on your experience.

A very civilian friend of mine assembles office furniture, cubicles and does light construction and painting in the green zone of bagdad and other high security locales around the world. He always makes $1000 per day and is gone for 1 to 3 months at a time and then has about the same amount of time off. He was able to land the job due to family in the pentagon.

I would not consider doing aviation in the fertile crescent for anything less.
