Default Contract Flying - Instructors & Mentors

Looks like this place is trying to get people who meet the new insurance company mandates for being mentor pilots in the new VLJ's and the TBM's and Pilatus. Pretty good money. Sounds like a nice retirement or part time side job. Doesn't seem regular enough otherwise.

www.turbinetransitiontraining.com

jobs page says 6,500 PIC turbine to be a mentor pilot. Less time if you still have valid CFI stuff.

Not much on their website nor anywhere else I can see. Any other pointers? Sounds like a very small shop.

sent them a resume so i guess we will see. i think that they set you up with people in your area that need someone to show them how to operate thier brand new shiny airplane that they are not qualified in.

Hoover,

Any idea where they are based? Their parent company is TriLateral Group according to their "sent your resume to HR" email. I can't find anything on the net. Most unusual.

Had mine in for nearly 2 weeks but that's short notice in HR time!
