Sent the stuff into GoJet with 1200/200 waiting for the call. The flight school is drying up so I'm getting ready to join the club.
When was the last time someone was called, how much time? I'd stick with them until I made Capt and got on with a major in umteen years, Chicago would be fun. I'd rather fly forest fires but that is a shot in the dark. |
proud of yourself?

It means you have taken the written but have not taken an ATP checkride. The company is in Romania and wants JAA comm/IR. Probably require right to work/green card type visa. No type rating required but preferred.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I get it. thanks :-) |

There is a flight school in Saudi Arabia looking for Flight Instructors. They are advertising on climbto350.
From what I gathered, the base pay for CFI's is 3,000 USD a month, plus $10 per flight hour. They require at least CFI/CFII, I'm not certain if MEI is required. You must have FAA license (JAA, JAR, CAA, CASA, etc needs to be converted to FAA). The reason a FAA license is required is all of the aircraft are registered in the USA. They fly Cessna 172SP's, Piper Warriors, Arrows, Seminoles, and Seneca's. You live in a brand new apartment complex in a compound. The reason it's a compound is because it's the only "western culture" area of Jeddah and Rabigh. Outside the compound and you have to abide by Islamic traditions. You'll need to research on what it's like to socialize to Saudi's before you go. If anyone has any questions, you can PM them to me, I'll send an email to the consultant and get back to you. |

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but Compass is up to 1000 hours multi engine and Go Jet is up to 500 hours multi engine for their minimums. I was offered a job at Great Lakes in February with ATP minimums and written completed, plus about 150 hours multi engine, 100 of them Part 135. I didn't take the March training date, but a buddy of mine did. Half the class was released and I got an email telling me that they were no longer hiring. I couldn't take the pay cut anyway.
