I inquired with our HR people about a bud with the same issue and was told an ATP is a hard minimum these days. He has more than 3000 hours in the right seat of an RJ, but with no signs of upgrade, he is actually considering going out and purchasing his ATP. Not an ideal situation, but he really wants a shot at JB. I imagine there will be tons of ATP rated pilots applying, so I would not expect a call if you don't meet the mins. Sorry 'bout that.

If you look at the competitive mins that they posted and then have ALL of the TPIC be in turbojet and then add 1000 hours to each of the totals, that is likely what will be competitive.
One thing I have always heard is that Jetblue hires good workers and people they like over pure hours but that will change. They will still stick to their principles but will just pick the people who fit their culture out of the pool of the excessively qualified.
