JetBlue hiring First Officers
#31
I am almost there as well. I meet all of the competitive mins except for the TPIC and I have an invite to the open house.
One thing I dont have is jet time, just a bunch of time in a turboprop with an identity crisis...it thinks its a jet but its not quite there.

Quick question do you have an invite to the open house from the Company? Or is it the invite that the pilots sent out to their buddies? I received two invites from pilots but have yet to receive word if I will be officially invited to the open house.
FWIW- I have about 4000TT, a little over 1000 jet 121 PIC, and 3 internal recs. we shall see if it's enough.

I remember a while ago when going to Jetblue was considered the scab thing to do and that you'd never get on an alpa jumpseat. Now people are willing to give their kidney to get on with them because they raised their pay a little. Just goes to show you that we are no different than a dog chasing the light on the wall.

Might have raised the pay slightly, but the pilot group is still lacking protections and benefits it sorely needs.
I wish all of you the best in finding a stable job, but anyone that gets hired at JB please realize we still have tons of work that needs to be done. It might be a better job that where you are working now but we need protection, don't put on the Blue Glasses after leaving OSC. Have some pride in your career and help us all have a more stable place to work. The "direct relationship" does not help us, we have no seat, no power.
