High Performance Ground, Simulator, and Flight Instructor




TransPac Aviation Academy High Performance Flight Department is looking for full time flight instructors to teach ground, simulator, and flight as part of Chinese ab-initio flight training program.

Job description:
Instructors are responsible for teaching ground school, simulator, and in the King Air C-90. Instructors can expect to be used in any and all teaching roles according to the needs of the High Performance Department. Instructors will be required to serve as a ground instructor until demonstrating proficiency in subject matter and course work prior to conducting simulator training or flight training. Advancement to simulator or flight instructor will be based on instructor performance, prior experience, and the needs of the department. High Performance Instructors may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays in support of a 24 hour, 7 day per week operation. High Performance Instructors should expect to work 8 hours per day, five days a week.


Job Requirements:
CFI, CFII, MEI Required, no exceptions. ATP Preferred. 121, 135, military, or similar multi-crew (in an aircraft requiring Second in command) experience is highly preferred. Minimum Flight Experience: 3,000 hours total time and 1,000 hours of multi-engine time. Must have good knowledge of Power Point, Word and Excel. Previous ground school instructor’s experience a plus.

Salary starting at $43,000 + bonus and benefits.

Limited contract positions are also available.

We are hiring again and looking for some good instructors.

If you are even close to the times, and interested please send in a resume.

While 121 experience is valued, good instruction ability is just as important to us.

How are you guys for regular MEI's right now? I am off my last engineering position and currently looking for something else. I usually do engineering because it pays better, but things are slow and I am considering flight teaching for a while. By while, I mean at least a year. I can't meet the King Air mins but would be suitable for a regular Arrow-Seminole job.
