Evergreen Poolies

Hi,

I'm one of those who was swimming in the pool for one month as of today. Just got the e-mail about an hour ago.

Since the interviews take place on Thursdays , I believe flushing occurs on Thusday afternoons after the new poolies have been scored and placed into the competitive pool. Survived last week. Not this time though.

That is too bad. When I went through, you were placed in the pool for a max of one year. If you did not get a class date with in 12 months, then you were flushed. I received a call for a class two days after being placed in the pool.

They had an ad out on one of the major boards yesterday for 747 FO's.

Looking for more info regarding contract negotiations or if there's a possible future strike, furloughs, pay, retirements and upgrades, schedules, etc. Thanks!

Evergreen is a great place for a single guy with no debt..

Seriously, I had 3 good years there and they hired me from the left seat of a DC-3 to the right seat of a DC-8...No jet time.

Long lay-overs in exotic places guaranteed lots of booze and puzzy.

Good guys to fly with and good flying.

I have a Interview on Thursday, any information regarding the process would be greatly appreciated!

Just be yourself. They will be taking a good look at your personality and asking themselves if they would want to share the flight deck with you for 12 hours. That is it and good luck.

I am sure that when the interview is over, you will think it was just like hanging out with your friends. Low stress type interview.

I agree. Nice people at McMinnville. I've been holding out for the job for 6 months now. For me, the commute and schedule is perfect.
