Hey there. Just wanted to see in anyone attended the job fair Aug 28th? Specifically, if anyone visited Delta or AirTran and what they are saying, it if was crowded, etc...thanks.

It was packed. You had to take a number for the Delta and AirTran lines. I got there at 10 in the morning and only had time to get through the AirTran line. Per the recruiter, they are requiring 500 hours Part 121 PIC, and will continue to grow, but that growth will be much slower then it has been in the past.

From what I heard from the guys who went through the Delta line, Delta has hired all they are going to for this year.

Has anyone heard back from Airtran?

Nope. Me=5000TT 2000 TPIC 2 internals and soon to have 3.Throw in a disabled veteran for kicks. 2 got on from Mesa. One told me that the Nov. class is full and there will be no more new hires for this year. More next year and there is no date for an interview yet. My buddy got on with no internals.
