I think F9 had some hired after the aquisition, but I'm not sure how many. As we enter negotiations, we need to get you guys longevity, huge difference in 401k match/vacation accural/pay/etc. I will be pushing our negotiation team to get longevity for those coming into the fold. Even still, with the other majors hiring, other than a MKE base, I can't imagine any reason that you would wnat to come here rather than go to Delta, or even JetBlue and get treated like an adult. If you do choose to come over, welcome...if you choose to go to another major I would certainly understand.

I can't believe that longevity even has to be negotiated. It should be a given. Things like this just show what a dirtbag company Republic is.

Um...no...Sorry, we didn't have a "if we merge with someone their pilots will retain their original longevity" clause in our contract that we signed years ago. I'm sure that your airline has that. Give me a break.

As we are negotiating a new contract, we will have to negotiate that into the new contract.

Good old Hockey Pilot. Don't let him get you down. He's such an amazing pilot and wise human that he didn't have to come up through the less highly desirable jobs. He was immediately hired at his major as soon as he was of legal age to work there.

I believe Indoc. is two weeks. Anyone know how long systems/SIMs take and if there is usually a gap in between, or if you finish Indoc on Friday in INDY and start systems in STL on Mon?

If I remember correctly, systems is another 2 weeks followed by CRM and flows training in front of a mock up for I think a week. We had a week or two break in between oral and sims (depending on the sim schedule). If they get busy like they did in 07, they may send you to other sims. Some went to Jetblue University in Orlando, some went to Montreal, some even went to Paris because of lack of sim time in STL

GRR and MKE

GRR is shrinking so only a few should end up there. Most will probably go to MKE, maybe a few to ORD. Everywhere else is really senior. MKE is your best chance to avoid reserve out of class as of now.
