Far as I know there are classes going on for awhile. They said this was beginning of significant hiring. Lots of folks going to HOU an possibly MSP. Of course that could change.

Are you April 4th EMB 120? Thats the one Im scheduled to be in. Do you happen to know what the pay rate is at during training? Is it still 19-somethin at 60hrs/mo?

I'll be there. As far as I know 3/28 is CRJ only. They told us in the interview for CRJ new hires to expect MSP, ORD or IAH.

The 60hrs/month for new hires sounds right.

Should be $22/hr, unless it was just changed.

New pay package goes into effect 4/1. It should go up 6% from what I heard.

Min days off 11, and 12 in 31 day month.

Yeah, I'm in that one. Were you in the Tues (2/22) interview?

Pay, including training pay. I knew I had read it somewhere.

March 28th class is all jet. As I understand the new pay package will NOT include a raise for first year. Anyone know why this is? Average seems to be 24 or 25 per hour these days.

Still $22. Management has plenty of applications and poolies, so they didn't see a need to raise it.

Only a very tiny fraction of the voting pilot group is still on first year pay, so there wasn't much demand from that quarter either.

The agreement did leave an option for management to unilaterally raise first-year pay, in anticipation of a shortage. I opposed this...I think if new hires are getting a signing bonus, every pilot on the list should get the same bonus just for being there.
