Will not likely get an interview without ATP and will not get Hired without it. We have a lot of resumes of people wanting to work here. They received over 500 internal Req. when the last class was hired. To really have a chance you will need the ATP.

Internal rec not required people have been called without one. Its just a lot harder to get noticed in the pack.

The memory/immediate action items, but not an entire checklist.

Absolutely - and I didn't say memorize in my post either, but it is funny that you mention it.
After I wrote it I thought I should add - know where to find it and be familiar with it, but I was lazy; and here I am writing more about it!

In any case - it is really more of a comment about a negative post towards a non-union airline about a company that seems to have a pretty good safety record.

A second thought about immediate action / memory items.
Since I just went through my first civilian training program - I was surprised that there was not an immedaite action / memory item test required to be filled out verbatim or that more items were not asked in the oral (I think I got ONE).
Even when I went through my Differences training there was not a memory item test, nor are we tested every week/month/or even quarter on all or part of the items.

Not complaining ;), just a note at the difference.

you can pm
thanks

bqn, how much time to you have? I'm a military guy with just under 3000 hours heavy jet and an ATP but no internal rec. Just wondering what my chances might be of getting a call are. Thanks.
